As a Utah native, Krissta’s work is deeply rooted in the natural world. She draws inspiration from classic folklore, fairytales, and old-world artistry to create fantastical settings where imagination and nature intertwine. Her paintings often feature anthropomorphic figures and lush flora, blending human emotion with the quiet magic of the earth. The result is an ethereal, dream-like atmosphere that invites viewers to enter their own realm of wonder and interpretation.
Krissta graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, with a BA in Studio Art. She works as a Decorative Artist for film and television productions, as well as private clients throughout Los Angeles, bringing texture, color, and timeless, old-world character to both cinematic and residential spaces. Outside of her commissioned work, her personal art explores themes of transformation, nostalgia, and the delicate tension between fantasy and reality.
